We would like to acknowledge the Dharug and Darkinjung peoples as the Traditional Custodians of the land and river known as Dyarubbin. We would like to acknowledge that they defended, walked and managed these lands for many generations before us and have left a legacy of strong cultural, wisdom and knowledge in their people today. Thus, we would like to honor their enduring connection to the land, waterways, and sky, and pay our respects to their Elders, past, present, and emerging.
As we approach the development at 2832 Hawkesbury River, Bar Point, we seek to foster reciprocity with the land, implementing sustainable practices that nurture & protect the environment. In doing so, we hope to continue the tradition of custodianship that has been carried forward by the Dharug and Darkinjung peoples for generations. We have joined the Land for Wildlife Program as a first step towards this & will implement a vegetation management plan as part of the development.
